Dr. Ball is a native of Missouri, where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree and her Master’s Degree, and later her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences, part of A.T. Still University. Dr. Ball’s tenure as an Audiologist has been a diverse one.

Shortly after earning her Master’s degree, Dr. Ball embarked on a journey traveling around the United States with her husband, who was then an Officer in the U.S. Army. Over the course of over 20 years, Dr. Ball has worked in a small private audiology practice in Kirksville, MO, a large otolaryngology practice in Richmond, VA, a military tertiary care hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii, an academic medical center in Charlotttesville, VA, and a large private audiology practice in Richmond. Dr. Ball’s truly diverse clinical experiences have resulted in a well-rounded and seasoned clinician, but her true passion is helping patients maximize the benefit that hearing aids can bring to their lives. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, fellow of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology and is current Vice President of the Speech and Hearing Association of Virginia.

Mrs. Fisher is a native of upstate New York and received her Master’s degree from the University at Buffalo. Kim has been practicing audiology in Richmond since 2000 and has a special interest in hearing aids and tinnitus.

Dr. Imajo received her Bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and spent several years teaching Kindergarten before making a career change to audiology. She went back to school at the University of Virginia where she obtained her Master’s degree in Audiology. She then obtained her Doctorate degree from Salus University in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Imajo has been practicing audiology in Richmond since 2000 and has a special interest in advanced hearing aid technology. After working in an ENT office, she joined a private practice for several years. In 2011, Dr. Imajo decided to become a business owner herself with Richmond Hearing Doctors because she wanted the flexibility to best fit and treat her patients as needed instead of having someone else or a large corporation tell her how to manage patients. Dr. Imajo is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a fellow of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. She has lived in Richmond for over 40 years and enjoys spending her free time at the river with her husband, son and daughter.

Dr. Ogilvie is a native of Virginia, growing up in Hampton. She received her Bachelor’s degree from James Madison University, her Master’s degree from The George Washington University in Washington, DC and her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Salus University in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Ogilvie has been practicing Audiology since 1995. After spending several years in the Northern Virginia area, she and her husband moved to Richmond in 1999 and spent 12 years working in a local private practice until deciding to become an owner herself. Dr. Ogilvie has always appreciated both the technology side and personal sides to Audiology – finding the best hearing solution for each individual person. Dr. Ogilvie is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a fellow of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, and is a Board Member of the Virginia Board for Hearing Aid Specialists and Opticians. She and her husband enjoy spending time with their son, daughter, and extended family.

After enjoying many years of service and providing a variety of hearing healthcare needs, she is now excited to be concentrating on hearing aids. She has enjoyed the ability to serve multiple generations of families. Susan holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Susan comes from a large family that lives in the Richmond area and has three adult children. She enjoys spending free time reading, going to movies, and traveling with her husband and extended family.

Dr. Shearer is a Virginia native, and earned his undergraduate and doctoral degrees from James Madison University. He has practiced audiology since 2014, developing a broad background in adult and pediatric care, and is a fellow of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology.

Dr. Shearer’s career began in pediatrics as a provider at the A.I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, DE, and later moved back to Virginia to join the Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind as the school’s audiologist. He has provided a broad range of adult audiology services in Delaware and Virginia, and now serves patients in the Midlothian and Richmond area. Dr. Shearer specializes in diagnostic and rehabilitative care and focuses on helping patients to understand their hearing health and improve communication. He enjoys participating in community outreach and serves as Clinical Director of hearing services for the Virginia Special Olympics. Outside of the office, he enjoys being outdoors and exploring new areas with his wife and two kids.

​Dr. Ruth is a native of West Virginia, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from West Virginia University. She went on to receive her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in audiology from James Madison University.

She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia as an audiologist and hearing aid specialist.

Dr. Ruth has been practicing Audiology in Richmond since 2005. She is married with two children. She enjoys traveling and watching sports, especially college football and professional hockey. Her favorite teams are the West Virginia Mountaineers, James Madison Dukes and the Washington Capitals.
